Being physically active means I have a way of becoming stronger and fitter mentally and physically for my own well-being. Being active doesn’t mean doing 5 marathons a week as we live in a world of social media comparisons. But it could small tasks around the house, walking instead of driving or doing some cleaning etc. “Purposely doing something physical instead of…” is a great mind set to have.
For me, being active has always helped me to stay calm and focussed on my day-to-day life. As we know, the past 12 or so months it’s been pivotal to do something physically positive for our well-being. I’ve really enjoyed running ( pretty much all we can do) to pass the time as it’s way of escaping from the world for an hour or two really helps, a few podcasts and away I go! If I’m in the certain mind set I’ll push myself to new limits.. because we all can! I encourage you all to try something new and make it fun as that is the fundamental. We all have to start somewhere.
