We at SEN UNITED are a charity football team which was founded in 2015 with the purpose of raising money for SEN schools in the Derby area, we have made excellent connections with community groups such as Derby County Community Trust, Fatball, Rolls-Royce Leisure FC, Hexlease limited, TeacherActive and most recently became partners with local youth football team Redwood Colts FC. The money we have raised has helped fund a state-of-the-art Multi-Use-Games-Area, sensory rooms, a purpose-built kitchen, an outside classroom and so much more. Our next project is to help raise money for outdoor fitness equipment for St Andrew’s Academy school, that would massively benefit not only their physical health but also their mental wellbeing.
