If you would like to use the poles the technique course is recommended. 

This walk grade is 3. See details on grading. Not suitable for beginners, this is a fitness workout walk.  

Please note: Many use poles for these walks but it is not a requirement.

Dress appropriately for the session, walking /trail shoe, leggings or lightweight trouser, fitness gear, waterproof jacket and trousers if required, no jeans or trainers.

It is advisable to wear a bum bag with a water bottle or hydration pack.

You are asked to contact your Walk Leader by phone, leaving a voicemail or send an SMS text to the number listed, if you are likely to be delayed.

Whilst we do understand that sometimes it is not possible to make a class, please be aware that we do operate a no refund policy if you give us less than 2 hours’ notice.

Starting Location: Meeting point will be confirmed upon booking

Distance: 5 kms

Difficulty: Grade 3 -  This is a fitness walk, particapants must be of a resonable level of fitness to attend.  A more difficult walk. There will be ascents, muscular strength exercises, balance, agility, intervals.

Participants with health problems should give careful consideration as to the trails suitability for them.

Walk duration: 1 hour
