2021 Walking Festival

This route follows National Cycle Network route 54 from Mackworth, through Mackworth Park then up to Langley Country Park to the start of the Great Northern Greenway in Mickleover and back through Mickleover Meadows.

Starting point: Path opposite 118 Greenwich Drive South, New Zealand, Derby DE22 4AG

Distance: 4 miles

Although the route runs between two large residential areas there is a surprisingly large amount of nature to enjoy.

Make sure you take a close look at the brightly painted Millennium Mileposts sculptures on the route (one at the start and one near the entrance to the Great Northern Greenway).
