There are over 375 parks and open spaces covering 13% of Derby explore the city using the Move More Derby Trails. 15 routes are now signposted and mapped across 5 locations in parks and woodlands across the city.

These routes and locations are all unique whether it is the historic Markeaton Park, the wildlife haven of Sinfin Moor and Nature Reserve or the largest open space in Derby of Allestree Park every route gives you a different experience.

Routes are generally on hard surfaces, but some have gravel or bark surface as well as woodland paths. Developed in conjunction with Peak Running we’ve colour coded and graded them so that, whatever your pace, you can choose trails that suit you.
