Sinfin Moor Park

Placeholder

The 34 hectare site includes a playing field with 6 football pitches and 2 cricket pitches, a BMX track and a play area with a range of equipment for children of all ages. The nature conservation area has more than a hundred species of wildflowers and its ponds, meadows, woodland and hedgerows provide habitats for a variety of birds, invertebrates, amphibians and mammals. The Friends of the Park volunteers run a community café at the Pavilion, as well as other activities for the community and to help wildlife.

Routes

Routes are generally on hard surfaces, but some may be on gravel/bark surfaces. There are some woodland paths which may become muddy at times, and you may need to consider the weather conditions when choosing your route. Some surfaces may include tree roots, and all routes may have overhanging branches. Routes are directed throughout by corresponding coloured discs. Follow the symbols below so you know that to expect on each route.
